How a residential service plan works
Property maintenance for your home taking too much time? Don’t do it at all, but know you should?
You’ve got enough to deal with, let That-HANDYMAN handle your home maintenance for you. It’s our business to keep your home running smoothly so you don’t have to. Our service plans are ideal for those who: aren't handy, are too busy, live alone!
How it works:
That-HANDYMAN will present you with a list of recommended maintenance items per season. Depending on the size and scope of your home, these items would represent approximately 30-45 minutes of a standard 2 hour maintenance call. The remainder of the time will be spent on your “honey-do” list. This list will be comprised of items you have listed over the quarter that need completed.
Have more to do than the 2 hour call allows for? No problem, just send us an email with your list a week before your appointment is scheduled and we will make time to get what you need done at the discounted rate!
Need something done before your planned visit? We offer options, you can move your scheduled call up, or add it on at the discounted rate.
Sample Quarterly maintenance recommendations:
Every season: Replace burnt bulbs, check batteries in smoke detectors, change furnace filters, change water filters, check water softener and fill salt.
Fall: Remove hoses from spigots, store outside furniture, check windows and doors for weather tightness, install weather stripping if needed, clean gutters and check downspouts.
Winter: Flush and check water heater, Tighten any handles, knobs, racks, etc., flip mattresses.
Spring: test sump pump, reconnect hoses, put outside furniture out, clean gutters.
Summer: Remove lint from dryer exhaust vent, Check grout in bathrooms and kitchen, clean aerators on faucets.
